“Every filmmaker starts with an idea — bring yours and leave with a film.” “Two days, one camera, endless creativity — your cinema journey begins here.” Art of Film Making is a two-day hands-on workshop where participants explore the fundamentals of storytelling, cinematography, shooting techniques, and basic editing. From concept development to final cut, participants collaborate in teams to create a one-minute short film during the workshop sessions. This workshop encourages creativity, teamwork, and practical exposure to the art of visual storytelling.

Workshop Facilitator for “Art of Filmmaking” with practical experience in short film direction, screenplay development, and post-production editing. Passionate about teaching the fundamentals of film writing, visual storytelling, character construction, and practical low-budget filmmaking techniques. Directed short films including Digital Dimensia, Theervu (1st Prize – Nandha Engineering College), Mownathin Mozhi, and Edhiroli. Currently working on a feature film script, focusing on structured storytelling, character depth, and cinematic world-building.

▸ Participants must carry a smartphone or camera for practical sessions
▸ Teams will be formed on Day 1 for collaborative filmmaking
▸ Follow the schedule strictly to attend all sessions
▸ The one-minute short film must be created only during workshop time
▸ Basic editing apps/software are allowed
▸ Maintain discipline and respect equipment and workspace
▸ Be creative, participate actively, and enjoy the filmmaking experience
