“Waste to Wonder – Metal Scraps” is a two-round practical and creative competition designed to promote technical skills, safety awareness, innovation, and sustainability. Participants will first demonstrate their ability to safely handle metalworking machines and tools, followed by transforming scrap metal into useful or artistic products.

📜 Rules & Guidelines

▸ The event consists of two exciting rounds – Machine Handling & Scrap Creation
▸ Qualification in Round 1 is mandatory to participate in Round 2
▸ Participants must demonstrate safe and proper handling of metalworking machines
▸ Safety gear is compulsory – gloves, goggles, apron, and safety shoes
▸ Use only the assigned machines and tools and strictly follow workshop safety rules
▸ Create innovative, functional, or artistic products using scrap metal only
▸ No pre-made items are allowed; work must be completed within the given time and workspace cleanliness must be maintained
▸ Avoid hazardous materials, ensure safe finishing, and the judges’ decision will be final
